Claire cares deeply about young people with additional needs, especially those who often feel unseen, unheard, or not fully understood. As Recruitment Manager at North West Care Group, she plays a vital role in finding and supporting compassionate, trauma-informed staff who can build trusting relationships with the children in their care. Her work helps create safe, nurturing homes where vulnerable young people with complex needs are given the chance to feel valued, supported, and able to flourish.
With a background working within charities and SEND-specialist roles, Claire has championed relational practice throughout her career — grounded in the belief that every young person deserves trusted adults who listen, believe, and create safe environments for growth. She brings hands-on expertise in delivering workshops and facilitating conversations on mental health, wellbeing, relationships, and identity.
Alongside her professional role, Claire serves as a Trustee and Workshop Facilitator for The SEND Foundation, helping to design and deliver impactful school workshops that educate, support, and advocate for children and families.
