I am a serving Secondary Headteacher of 9 years on a special mission to inspire generations of effective school leaders, staff and young people. I am committed in my service of others and in particular to the most disadvantaged. I am a principled and strong professional with a passion for school improvement. I have a Level 7 Masters Qualification in School Improvement and Educational Leadership. I have a proven track record of successful transformational leadership; an example of this would be in my current school which was transformed from being in ‘Special Measures’ to becoming an ‘Outstanding’ faith school within 5 years of my leadership.
I am experienced in both rapidly improving schools and in developing them sustainably over a longer period of time. Alongside my Headteacher experience, I have also held leadership positions as an Academy CEO (18 months) & School Improvement partner (1 year) in support of a Primary School judged as ‘Inadequate’ in inspection. I have also carried out many other school improvement assignments and I am fully trained to inspect schools internationally. I have extensive experience in mentoring and coaching Headteacher’s, Senior Leaders and Middle Leaders both inside and outside of my current institution. I am a Level 6 qualified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner and Professional Coach. I am currently completing my Level 7 professional coaching qualification. I am ‘green listed’ to facilitate NPQ programs and am currently facilitating learning for an NPQH cohort in Birmingham. I really enjoy collaborating with other professionals and supporting their development.
