SENcastle
SENcastle provides the necessary, controlled sensory input for the five sensory systems – visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular, and proprioceptive.
While SENcastle is primarily intended for children aged 3 to 18, it also applies to individuals older than 18. It is designed for anyone needing a space with controlled sensory input.
SENcastle is applicable for sensory integration difficulties (registration, modulation, discrimination), autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, motor difficulties, multiple disabilities, rare genetic disorders, speech-language difficulties, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and anyone needing a calming and relaxing zone.
In the center of SENcastle is a base with buttons for controlling sound playback and a central column that can change colors and additional visual effects, creating a unique atmosphere within the SENcastle and capturing the user's attention.
One of the main elements of SENcastle is the sensory cards. Each card contains five sensory scenes covering various themes: relaxation and stimulation, educational content, time orientation, emotions, sensory-challenging social situations, and interactive cards.
Sensory cushions are an integral part of SENcastle. Six different sensory cushions provide four distinct types of sensory input. These include a vibrating cushion, a weighted cushion, two tactile cushions (one abstract and the other featuring a house motif), an auditory cushion, and a multi-sensory cushion.
SENcastle is a compact sensory room that fulfills sensory needs in various environments, such as kindergartens, elementary and high schools, rehabilitation centers, healthcare homes, hospitals, specialized clinics, associations, family houses or apartments, shopping malls, and airports.
