Using assessment to build a detailed picture of need
11 Oct 2024
Early identification of strengths and challenges is built on a strong foundation of quantitative and qualitative data. Using results from standardised assessments, which are contextualised with essential information from teachers, families and learners, ensures an accurate and meaningful understanding of each student’s learning requirements.
But how can schools ensure that the right data is available and acted on effectively at each level?
During this session we will explore the best ways to systematically examine universal and screener assessment results in order to build and test a hypothesis of need that will help colleagues to plan adaptive learning opportunities which in return will reduce barriers and allow learners to thrive
