A Teach Primary Awards 2023 finalist in the SEN category, Essential Letters and Sounds (ELS) uses a whole-class teaching model with built-in, in-lesson interventions, that ensures all children are supported how to read.

In this session, ELS authors Tara Dodson and Katie Press will discuss how this inclusive programme can best support your children with SEND, how to make adaptations to meet the specific needs of your pupils, and how to deliver ELS within a specialist setting. They will also discuss how to support older children who need more support with their reading.
