Following a period of being out of education — which was preceded by bad experiences at former educational provisions — my future was in jeopardy. After three years at EKOS, it no longer is.

The unparalleled support that I received from staff allowed me to achieve this goal, despite having never received full-time secondary education prior to joining EKOS.

I had many episodes of extreme stress and demotivation which threatened my prospects of attaining the qualifications which I required for university entry. Eventually, I managed to complete my courses. This was thanks to the excellent support from all the staff at EKOS, who I could tell truly cared about my future.

What makes EKOS unique is their people, who do everything that they can to ensure that students reach their potential. From the hard-working coordinators, to the highly-skilled teachers and mentors, everybody at EKOS is truly invested in the ambitions of their students.

I went from being a school refuser with no formal secondary education, to receiving an offer to study an integrated master’s degree at a Russell Group university. It is this sort of incomprehensible transformation that EK Outreach manages to achieve for students — they move heaven and earth, making the ‘impossible’ possible.
