The British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) and its members believe that every adult and child should have access to the technology and services they need. BATA is a not-for-profit organisation of over 90 members from across the AT sector - Schools, Universities, Publishers, Teachers, Trainers, who are all working together to ensure that every disabled child and adult gets access to the life-changing technology they need.
BATA does this, in part, by bringing together unique coalitions of those that provide AT with those who need additional support to increase access and build awareness of what AT is and how it enables. BATA advocates for policy change to increase funding and research, and to better our national systems through partnerships. BATA's exclusive Special Interest Groups pool technical expertise, which address themes from education to visual impairment.
