LIFT is an inclusive, gesture-controlled music app designed for people with cognitive, physical, or neurological challenges. Used in SEND schools, music therapy, and care settings, LIFT enables music creation using movement, promoting engagement, creativity, and emotional expression, and supports wellbeing through accessible music improvisation. LIFT has adjustable visual modes and adaptive calibration, meeting diverse sensory needs. Backed by two innovation grants and developed with input from music therapists, teachers and participants, LIFT is a powerful tool for inclusive education and SEND enrichment.
