PIVATS

Recognised worldwide, PIVATS has been at the forefront of assessment for children with SEND for over twenty years.

Designed for teachers by teachers, and experts in the field, Lancashire County Council has created an assessment resource which breaks down learning into small steps to measure and celebrate progress made by pupils who are working well below age related expectations.

PIVATS 5 assesses progress in English (reading, writing, language and communication), mathematics and science. PIVATS PSED assesses progress in personal, social and emotional development, including behaviour for learning.

To supplement the milestones we have created a number of cost effective and time saving resources to enable and empower teachers to adapt planning and provision within their individual settings.
