We work regularly with schools, local authorities, SENCOs, health and social care professionals and families in relation to appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal, and related High Court proceedings.

SV Law acts for schools in disability discrimination claims under the Equality Act and provides expert legal support to schools in navigating sensitive and complex issues. We also advise many schools in relation to admissions and exclusions appeals. We advise schools on best practice for managing and conducting school exclusions in compliance with SEND law. We regularly clerk complex admissions and exclusions independent review panels for schools. We also provide regular education, training and policy insights to all those involved in education and disability law.

Mr Satnam Virdi is on the Board of the Education Law Association and has been the Chair for two years.
