Inclusion bases: Deliberate design for ‘flow’ and accessibility to universal provision

This session will explore how two secondary settings have used deliberate design principles for curriculum and teaching and learning to ensure that pupils’ access to their inclusion bases build greater opportunity and accessibility to universal provision alongside their peers. It will explore how inclusion by design at a whole-school level and a rigorous commitment to delivering equity in the inclusion bases has impacted pupil engagement, belonging and their outcomes.
