Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) - how to identify and support within education
DCD is an under recognised condition impacting approximately one individual in each classroom nationwide. During this seminar we will explore DCD and how it may present across the key stages and the variety of strengths and challenges that may be present for those with DCD. We will look at how a diagnosis is made, where to gain support and also strategies, and approaches that you can use in your settings. We will explore myths and also how DCD is often present alongside other conditions.

- Understand that DCD can be a standalone diagnosis and comorbid with several conditions

- Be able to identify possible signs of DCD and support children, young people and their families to access services and support.
