AI and Assistive Technology to support Literacy and SEND
Based on innovative classroom practice, we shall explore the potential impact of AI and Assistive Technology for our SEND students. We shall consider how our learners can benefit across Early Years through to Key Stage 3, primarily focused on the teaching of literacy, but also sharing cross curriculum opportunities. During this session we shall aspire to look past the Generative AI hype to seek positive potentials to inspire, engage and remove barriers to learning.
Learning outcomes:
- How AI can be integrated into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning
- How established Assistive Technologies can combine with AI
- To consider how AI and Assistive Technologies can be embraced into established Teach-ing and Learning sequences L25
