More than 30% of children who enter prison have diagnosed SEND and potentially 50% + are Dyslexic. 88% of children are excluded from 10% of schools in the UK. Schools, and other support networks / services, can stop the Pupil to 'Prison Pipeline' by navigating a tolerance policy, halting damaging isolation and' supporting effective EOTAS provision. It is time for supportive, inclusive, empathetic, interesting, challenging, internationally minded, useful, child-centred learning provision.
