This seminar will clarify how Ofsted inspects SEND in schools, including mainstream and specialist settings. Jo will outline how inspectors use the school inspection handbook to evaluate the provision in place for pupils with SEND and will develop school leaders' understanding of the inspection process. The session will also cover recent learning from inspections around good practice and positive outcomes for pupils with SEND.
