EDIB + A will be a lively presentation on The Accessibility Formula, which is a framework designed to ensure that curriculum content is accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. The formula represents:

• Equality
• Diversity
• Inclusion
• Belonging
• Accessibility

This approach emphases creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong whilst accessing the content they need. It involves using accessible formats for text, images, and multimedia, ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies, and following best practices for inclusion.

By the end of this session you should:

• Be aware of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Accessibility and how it can have a positive impact on the whole School approach as well as in the classroom. 
• Be able to actively participate and share in a variety of case studies and scenarios providing workable solutions.
• Demonstrate texts that can be used for inclusive practice.
• Be aware of strategies to enable students with ESL to access the curriculum content in their own language.
