We encourage student voice, right from the first stages of developing speech through specific oracy work to more formal activities such as presentations, Annual Review participation and later interviews. How do we ensure that they feel confident to share their authentic thoughts?' How do we ensure AAC users are offered the same opportunities as their peers?' How do we support their use of Social Media safely?' This session will offer examples and ideas to support effective practice.
