Many of our special learners have not had the opportunity to prepare for changes during puberty, how to keep themselves safe, or understand the confusion over public and private or safe and unsafe touch. For our learners, identifying traits of a healthy or unhealthy relationship, body changes, naming body parts and keeping safe should be a learning priority. RSE is Safeguarding; it is a human right and vital learning.
