Teacher Wellbeing and Support: Identifying who needs support and what support looks like when teachers are working with young people with additional needs

The traffic light system of supporting Teachers with regard to Special needs in their classes. This session will help the audience begin to understand the reasons why staff find supporting children with additional needs challenging and consider ways to support them in an empathetic way.

 

By the end of this session you should be able to:

•    Identify individual staff who require support re SEND
•    Acknowledge what these needs are
•    Consider staff needs through an empathetic lens
