Values-Led Practice – A Journey to Outstanding

11 Oct 2025
Policy & Guidance

Join us for an honest, energising session exploring how a values-led approach transformed the culture and practice of our SEMH school - fast. Through storytelling, collaboration and real-life tools, you’ll reflect on what truly drives inclusive change and leave with clear, practical strategies to take back to your setting. Whether you lead a class or a whole school, you’ll feel inspired, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful change happen.

By the end of this session, you should be able to:

•    Identify key barriers to inclusive, values-led practice within their setting and propose practical, role-specific solutions.
•    Develop or adapt a values-based framework to support whole-class and whole-school SEND provision.
•    Confidently communicate and model inclusive values and narratives within their teams, classrooms, and wider school community.
•    Understand how habits and consistency underpin effective practice, and how to embed these over time using evidence-informed strategies.
•    Collaborate with colleagues across roles (TA, Teacher, SENCO, Leadership) to co-produce strategies that drive meaningful change from the ground up within their set-ting.
