Language, Empowerment, Ambition and Deliberateness (LEAD) will be promoted as essential attributes of SEND LEADership.  The strengths-based approach of the 7 Cs Learning Portfolio as outlined in the book “SEND Assessment:  A Strengths-based framework for learners with SEND” by Judith Carter, has been embedded across all 42 academies within DNEAT MAT over the past 3 years and the intent, implementation and impact of this will be summarised by Colleagues from the Trust and adopted by a local authority.
