Having a HEART- an SEMH school journey
In this presentation, we will explore the evolution from a behaviourist approach to a trauma-informed perspective, highlighting key shifts in understanding and practice. We will also share evidence-based techniques to help staff become more reflective in their work, grounded in principles from clinical psychology. Additionally, I will provide an overview of the HEARTs project and discuss the impactful work we are doing across Liverpool to support and transform practices in this area.
