I am a passionate early years educator, consultant and trainer with 25 years of experience in teaching and leadership across schools and private nurseries. As a qualified teacher, I have worked as a SENCO in multiple primary schools and served as an EYFS Lead, developing high-quality early years provision. I have also worked as a Regional Director of a nursery group, overseeing multiple settings and supporting high-quality practice across the organisation. My approach is fun, hands-on, and personalised, ensuring practical and engaging support for educators.
Through my consultancy and training, I work across the UK and internationally, delivering training on all aspects of the early years curriculum. My particular passion lies in connection, belonging and understanding children's behaviour and I deliver training on these topics to both early years settings and primary schools. My Baby Room Practitioner training has been adopted by the Manchester Council Early Years Team and is now used across all early years settings in the city.
My experience includes working as an EY Ofsted Inspector and an Associate Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, shaping early years education. I have also consulted for BBC Bitesize and am currently collaborating with an independent video production company to create new TV programmes for young children.
I regularly deliver training across the UK and have provided international training in China and Romania. This year, I will be delivering training across Europe, the Middle East, and South East Asia.
Alongside my consultancy and training, I collaborate with educational companies to write blog posts and deliver webinars, providing accessible, high-quality professional development for early years practitioners and teachers.
