Belinda Edington
Belinda Edington is the Director of MindSpark CIC, a social enterprise that collaborates with schools, charities, and organisations to design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-informed programmes that support children, young people, and adults in developing self-regulation skills. She explores how neurobiological factors and life experiences, particularly those shaped by relationships and communication, impact development and life outcomes.
As an experienced facilitator and certified executive function coach, Belinda has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. Her work integrates neuroscience-based strategies into educational settings, equipping learners with essential skills for life.
Belinda holds an MSc in Psychology and recently conducted a randomised controlled trial on a whole-class intervention for Year 5 and Year 6 students. Her research supported existing studies that demonstrate metacognitive and executive function strategies in teaching foster self-regulated learning, enhance academic outcomes, and improve student wellbeing.
Passionate about bridging theory and practice, Belinda leads evidence-informed training and coaching to ensure that individuals develop the executive function skills needed to succeed in education and the workplace and develop positive relationships. Through her leadership, MindSpark continues to drive meaningful change, enabling organisations to deliver more inclusive, effective, and impactful interventions for individuals of all ages.
