Bex Holmes
Bex Holmes has been Head of School at Northern House Academy (NHA) since its re brokerage into The Gallery Trust in 2020. With over two decades of experience in education, Bex brings a rich and diverse background that spans across teaching, pastoral, and strategic leadership in special education settings. Her journey began in the founding school of the Trust, where she worked as a Teaching Assistant and has since progressed through roles including Pastoral Support Worker, Exams Officer, Pupil Wellbeing Lead, Executive Assistant, and Business Manager.
Bex’s leadership style is deeply rooted in empathy, high expectations, and an unshakeable belief in the potential of every child. At Northern House Academy, she leads on Behaviour, Attendance, and Personal Development, ensuring these pillars align with the school’s core values of Happiness, Positivity, Understanding, Nurture, Consistency, and High Expectations. Her vision is to embed excellence through a holistic approach that balances academic achievement with emotional growth.
