Charlotte has been working in education for 25 years as an educator, senior leader and headteacher and is passionate about community engagement and inclusion.

She is Head of Inclusion at John Wilmott School in Birmingham. She is an ASCL Council member for the West Midlands, primary school governor and a board member for a Trust of special schools. Charlotte also leads a collaborative local area project across a group of schools in North Birmingham to drive inclusive practices and school improvement . Charlotte brings a broad cross-sector perspective as well as policy expertise and experience to her work.
