Daisy Russell, Assistant Director, IASSN & SEND: Daisy has worked in and with services providing legally based information, advice and support on education, health and social care to children, young people and parents for nearly 30 years. She worked with the DfE on the current SEND Code of Practice and created the Minimum Standards for SENDIAS services.

Daisy led the £20m Information Advice and Support Programme (IASP), a national government initiative which commenced in June 2018 and which had a significant impact on the quality and quality IAS provision in England. Daisy oversees all of our legal advice and guidance work including managing the DfE funded team at NCB working to support SEND IASS (information, Advice and Support Services) providers across the country providing them a comprehensive programme of information, legal and other training and resources
