A highly experienced and visionary leader, David has over two decades of experience in education, bringing a distinct focus on inclusion, safeguarding, ethical practice, and school improvement. A former principal at a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), David has contributed to national initiatives and driven excellence across diverse settings. He is passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders through purposeful, values-led development.

David has spearheaded numerous school and trust-wide initiatives, leading large teams through complex change, embedding inclusive practices and securing outstanding safeguarding outcomes. He has supported high-performance leadership development and trained governors and trustees in safeguarding excellence. His pioneering work on sustainability and community engagement, including presentations at the Houses of Parliament, underscores his commitment to ethical leadership and global citizenship.

David recently started tutoring on ESF’s Advanced SEND Leader Programme and has worked collaboratively with the wider team to help shape the content of this apprenticeship.
