Dr Kathyrn Gibb, the Managing Director and Lead Psychologist of Educational Psychology Services for Schools, has worked as an Educational Psychologist for over 22 years, providing psychological support in mainstream and special schools. In this time she has lead projects focused on Inclusion, LA policy & practice, implementing trauma informed approaches in schools, and co-ordinating whole-school approaches to mental health. Additionally, she has co-ordinated multi-agency Local Authority (LA) projects in Mental Health, Anti-bullying, and Autism. In collaboration with health colleagues, she has also developed integrated assessment and intervention services for children with social communication difficulties. Prior to this Dr Gibb worked in a school with an additional resource provision for SEMH and as a SENDCo, giving her excellent insight into teaching practice and service implementation.
