A visionary senior leader with considerable, highly qualified special educational needs and disability expertise combined with a depth of professional knowledge and experience formerly at Chief Executive and Head Teacher level.
Combined with lived experience of disability within the family and a parent of neurodivergent young people, provides a unique blended perspective as a national leader for SEND with strong purpose and support for listening to the voices of children and young people with SEND and parent carer advocacy.
Believes that nurturing and supporting local talents of those committed to improving and creating lasting change for an inclusive system of support for SEND at local level will secure the sustainable future we all need in the SEND and AP sector.
