Teach Us Too
18 year old Jonathan founded Teach Us Too in 2018 as a way to make a difference to others who are not being offered a meaningful literacy education in their special school settings. Jonathan dreams of an education system where every child is given the opportunity to learn to read and write, regardless of their educational labels.
Author of Eye Can Write (a memoir of his literacy journey), Jonathan is currently studying A levels and has applied to undertake a creative writing degree at university. Alongside his studies and charity work, Jonathan is an active member of FLARE, the Department for Education’s national young SEND advisory group.
