Kellie Bright is a well-known actress, working mum and passionate SEND advocate, drawing on her experience parenting a son with ASD, ADHD and dyslexia. She has spoken openly about her family’s journey and the challenges of securing the support her son needs. Earlier this year, Kellie launched ‘Post SEND’, a storytelling project inviting anonymous submissions from children, parents, young people, extended family and professionals. It offers a space for brief, honest and authentic voices to be heard without the pressure to write perfectly or at length, creating a powerful collective narrative of lived SEND experience.
