Laura Orme
As Head of Student Services at King’s InterHigh, Laura oversees the strategic leadership and delivery of SEN provision across the school. She is responsible for ensuring that students’ special educational needs are identified, understood and supported from admissions through to exams and progression.
Laura has a strong academic background in neurodiversity, having studied Human Genetics and completed postgraduate work at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where her focus included autism and related conditions. Her career spans a range of educational settings, including mainstream schools, specialist ASC provision and independent SEN schools, giving her a broad and informed perspective on effective SEN practice.
In her role, Laura provides leadership and guidance on inclusive provision and contributes specialist expertise in areas such as autism, ADHD, attachment and trauma to support consistent, high-quality SEN support across the school.
