Laura is Director of Schools Supported, a consultancy specialising in SEND and inclusion. She has been a teacher, SENCo, Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for SEND, middle and senior leader, and Director of Inclusion in a multi-academy trust. Laura is a Trustee for Alternative Learning Trust

Now working nationally, she supports MATs, schools and local authorities to navigate the evolving landscape of SEND and inclusion. A founding member of the Supervision for Schools Network and a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, she is an expert partner for the National College on SEND and safeguarding and was Lead Writer for the NPQSENCo for the National Institute of Teaching. Laura also sits on the advisory board for Challenge Partners’ SEND Developmental Peer Review and is completing a Master’s in Social Justice and Education at UCL.
