Lisa Pinkerton BA (Hons), MA, PGCE, NASENCo, NPQSL, DipSpLD, CPT3A is Head of Education at Widgit and a specialist in SEND, communication and inclusive educational leadership. Having worked across mainstream education, specialist provision and alternative provision, she brings extensive experience of meeting the needs of the most vulnerable learners. Lisa is particularly interested in the relationship between communication, belonging and achievement and advocates for approaches that combine accessibility with ambitious expectations. Through her work with APs, schools and trusts nationwide, she helps leaders develop inclusive systems where specialist expertise is placed closest to the learners who need it most.
