Peter has run businesses large and small, around the world. 

In 2013 he set up Earwig Academic Reporting Ltd to provide software for SEND schools and other educational settings. 

This software is now central to the way that 40% of Outstanding special schools handle their teaching evidence, pupil assessment, tracking and reporting, parent engagement and how educational trusts analyse performance across all the SEND units in their portfolios.

It is clear to him and to Earwig that AI will have a major impact on how special needs pupils are taught and learn – in the very near future.

He will explore the options available to special schools in 2026 and beyond.
