Sarah-Lou Glover, a passionate advocate for the wellbeing of those who support others' mental health, with a strong interest in the mental health sector, has dedicated her career to creating a support network for caregivers, particularly parents and families.  

As founder of Parental Minds CIC, established in September 2019, she has built a thriving support network reaching over 1,000 caregivers across Devon, delivering workshops and training to schools and practitioners.

Motivated by a deeply personal journey, Sarah-Lou herself has supported friends and family through complex mental health challenges and brings lived experience to every initiative.

Recognising the emotional toll of caregiving, she’s pioneered user-informed guides and workshops rooted in the lived experiences of families and developed in collaboration with professionals and researchers. These tools empower caregivers to support children and young people’s wellbeing while safeguarding their own.

Her inspirational speaking events and trailblazing training have earned widespread praise. She collaborates regularly with researchers and has coauthored several projects aimed at advancing mental health support for children and families. As a former Partner Member for Mental Health on the NHS Devon Board, Sarah-Lou played a key role in shaping mental health strategies.

Sarah-Lou will share her experience and her passion for building a supportive community for mental health caregivers.
