Sherann Hillman MBE
Sherann Hillman MBE is a national SEND strategic leader with over 28 years’ experience across education, health and care, including 14 years in senior leadership roles. She has worked for many years within the SEND sector, Chair of a local Parent Carer Forum, and has been heavily involved in shaping SEND policy at both local and national levels, with a strong focus on participation, co-production, children and young peoples and parent carer legal rights, and improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
Sherann brings both professional and lived experience as a parent carer, carer for an adult, and a neurodivergent individual. Awarded an MBE for services to children with SEND, she is a respected keynote speaker, trainer and influencer, working across systems to drive inclusive leadership, strengthen partnerships, and ensure family voices lead to meaningful change.
