Simon Broadley is the founder and lead designer of 0maths.com, an inclusive research-based platform tackling maths anxiety.

With a background in software design and a lifelong interest in psychology, Simon has spent his career creating engaging digital experiences that connect with how people think and learn. He previously built a software business that led its sector for two decades and developed viral web-based games and animations in the early days of the internet.

Simon’s journey into maths education began during lockdown, when his third child experienced acute maths anxiety — a response so intense it overwhelmed her ability to think rationally. Witnessing this struggle ignited a mission to understand the roots of maths anxiety and to design practical, scalable tools that make maths more accessible and less frightening for all learners.
