Amanda Cheney
Amanda Cheney leads the design and development of inclusive careers programmes at Talentino. With more than 30 years’ experience in special education, SEND and careers leadership, she brings extensive practitioner expertise to inclusive careers education, Preparation for Adulthood and transition. Amanda contributes to national and regional conversations on how careers education for young people with SEND moves beyond statutory compliance to become embedded within whole-school culture and strategy. Her work connects policy with practice, challenging expectations, strengthening person-centred pathways and helping ensure careers education starts early, raises aspiration and builds the experiences and capabilities young people need for adult life.
